Inspiring Tomorrow's Technology Creators
Inspired by the FEMA exercise of the same name, Cascadia Rising is a neighborhood response to the disastrous Presidential Election of 2016. Our group of friends, neighbors, and strangers began organizing ourselves for civic engagement at the local and state levels. As our group membership increased, I was asked to create a visual identity that we could all rally behind.
A brandmark was developed to embody a spirit of resistance while echoing our origins within the iconic Pacific Northwest. Branded collateral, t-shirts, and buttons were additionally created to energize members while supporting local causes under increasing fire from the Trump administration.
